neXtPlease! Gaming won the fourth edition of the Romanian eSports Championship following a 2-1 victory over cooL in the final (14-16 on de_inferno, 16-7 on de_mirage and 16-3 on de_cache). Last weekend, the community's attention was turned to the ESWC world finals, in Paris, but elsewhere, Dreamhack Masters Bucharest was playing host to the LAN Finals of the Romanian eSports Championship. The top four sides of the regular season of this Romanian league faced off in this one-day tournament, which used a single-elimination system in which every match was played in a best-of-three format.
In the semi-finals, neXtPlease!, featuring former TeG duo Iulian-Andrei "SNAPPLE" Constantin and Daniel "DaNy" Voinea, moved past Imposing Gaming 2-0, the same scoreline with which cooL defeated Airwalk Gaming. The first map of the grand final, de_inferno, went the way of cooL, who picked up a 16-14 victory, but then neXtPlease! upped the pace and turned the series around with 16-7 and 16-3 wins on de_mirage and de_cache, respectively.
